Through our Daily Spiritual Practice we begin to be..

It is one of the most cliché sayings,”Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift, that’s why it’s called the present.”  Yet, most all healing and spiritual work is done with the goal of being able to be fully present.  Healing past traumatic experiences allows us to be present without the potential for triggers or projecting our past negative experiences into the present.  Our inner work releases us of any irrational decisions we once declared into our subconscious which effects our present and future.  Letting go of limited beliefs and staying in ‘right thinking’ is the practice that allows us to not live with anxiety of the future.  When we are present, we begin to become receptive to the abundance of life.

Lao Tzu said, “If your depressed, you are living in the past.  If you are anxious, you are living in the future.  If you are at peace, you are living in the present.”  Today is our gift to give ourselves fully to life.  Some times the gift we bring is  just to be a listening for someone, some times it is to give a genuine complement, some times it is to give your time.  When we get out of our desire to fulfill ourselves and step into experiencing what we can bring to others, we often experience being more fulfilled.  We begin to be here now, transforming the most insignificant moment into pure bliss!

Daily Spiritual Affirmation:  The gift I give is to fully live!

Daily Action:  Today, I will stay present.  I will take the next step in doing my inner work to heal past traumatic events, release limited beliefs and letting go of attachment to the future.  I will ask myself what gift I can bring where ever I go.  I will be here now!
